Job Description

Project Management Assistant- Duluth

Summit Management is hiring a full-time Project Management Assistant. This position is responsible for completing projects and tasks that fall outside of the scope of our site maintenance staff.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assisting with planning, budgeting, and completing projects related to rental property upkeep and improvements. Examples include; siding, windows, doors, landscaping, carpentry, and renovations.
• Complete repairs on grounds equipment used to maintain our properties
• Utilize existing skills and learn new skills to do work “in house” that would otherwise have been hired out
• Assist maintenance staff as needed with work orders and apartment turns
• Work as a team member of our snow removal operations


Job Requirements:

Strong mechanical inclination
Maintain a professional, courteous, knowledgeable and helpful attitude with the residents, and staff
Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
Proficient on a computer and iPhone
Able to plan, prioritize, and manage own work
Able to work a flexible work schedule, evenings and weekends as needed.
Valid driver's license
Physical ability to move around buildings and grounds in all weather conditions; Bend, stretch, stoop, stand, sit, balance, climb stairs and ladders; Lift, carry, push/pull a minimum of 50 pounds and maximum of 125 pounds with assistance
